Dana Epstein is a seasoned real estate professional with over a decade of experience. As a social catalyst, Dana thrives on building relationships, connecting people, and fostering community, qualities often appreciated by her clients when they are new to town. Five years into her career, she earned her Broker’s license and holds designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative, a Real Estate Negotiation Expert, and a Military Relocation Professional, reflecting her commitment to staying at the forefront of the industry. Dana moved to Austin in 1999 to attend the University of Texas, where she earned a Bachelor of Journalism in 2002 and later a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School in 2006. Her academic background, including an internship with the Governmental Affairs Committee in Washington, D.C., honed her analytical and communication skills—key assets in her real estate career, where she’s recognized for her patient, diplomatic approach and as a steadfast advocate for her clients. Her “bulletproof integrity” and dedication to ethical standards sets her apart as a trusted advisor.

Before real estate, Dana dedicated 13 years to Jewish communal service at Shalom Austin, where she served as the Assistant Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Austin in addition to many other roles. During her tenure, she led numerous outreach and engagement initiatives, coordinated community service opportunities, supported many volunteer committees, and collaborated closely with the Board of Directors. Dana’s work was celebrated with Shalom Austin’s first Staff Exemplar Award in 2013 and the Selfless Service Award from Hindu Charities for America in 2015 for her role in the Bollywood Meets Borscht Belt fundraising event.

Dana’s deep knowledge of Austin and genuine love for welcoming newcomers make her a consistent resource on all things Austin for her clients. She enjoys exploring the city’s vibrant culinary scene and visiting small Central Texas towns, further enriching her ability to provide clients with a candid, personal, local perspective.
